I am stupid?
Please, don't answer that. I just got back from making a bank deposit and getting stuff from Target. On the way back I was stopped by a man, thank goodness, I was with some guy friends from school, although I don't think this stranger would have done anything to me anyways. So, he explained his needing gas dilemma, and how he had this Victoria Secret gift card for twenty bucks, that he would sell to us for $8. I'm not a retard I have heard many phony stories, but I don't know, I actually had cash on me so I gave him some and didn't take the gift card. Now I feel dumb, but why, it is biblical to give to those who have asked. Some Christians say even if the receiver is going to use the money on something bad at least you empower them to make a choice, others say to give food or gift cards if you are worried they will use the money poorly. This guy had a car, or so he says, it's not like he's in a dire situation, but who knows, it's in God's hands now. One thing to consider, in biblical times the Israelites were commanded to give to the poor or to those who ask, but the culture was somewhat different, what do you guys think?
Now that you are pondering that, I will lighten the mood and tell you about my amazing Rock Climbing experience. I took Basic rock Climbing to fulfill a PE credit. I was scared I'd never make it up the wall and look stupid, but I had an amazing time. Maybe I'll write more about it later.

i don't think you stupid. Although the gift card most likly did not hold $20. Otherwise he could have taken it to VS and spent it and then returned the items for cash. See?
He probably wasn't that smart, and if he had no gas how would he get to Vitoria'a Secret. Plus there is is the the whole taboo of guy's buying women's undergarments.

What am I going to do with a Victoria Secrets gift card?
You felt led to give. Give. It's not your concern whether or not the guy used the money wisely. How many times have we been blessed and miss-used the blessing? Dont' answer that. There ARE bandwidth limits.
Generosity is never foolish.
