Fall Break

It was so relaxing and fantastic. I headed to Lowell WI on Wednesday, after I went to Axis Infiniti, where I saw a classmate who dropped out our junior year. He is looking cutter than ever. It was just bizarre that he happened to be on leave while I was on break. That night I watched The Patriot. Not a bad movie, I did needed a blanket shield as it was the extended version. Before that, of course, I started my laundry. I'm glad that I could stay up with Sissy. I slept in Thursday until like 10:30 or later. Then I lounged and finally decided to shower, when a light bulb went off. It contained the thought: Why not an amazing relaxing bath? So I took a 45 minute bath in a tub with jets, oh that felt sooo amazing. This was followed by a bit more lounging and then I needed to get out of the house, so Sissy and I went to a park, but it had been raining for the last couple of days and it was cold, and we ended up numbing up our feet by walking through 3 thigh high puddles. We topped that off with hot chocolate and steamers from Kwik Trip. Next, dinner, of a taco casserole, good made by an incredible woman. Shortly after that I headed to square and line dance graduation with Sissy, the graduate. That was sooo fun, you would not believe how hard square dancing is. After that experience Sissy and I challenged the Parents to a game of Sequence, we won 5 rounds to 2. It was an prideful victory. Of course this was followed by late night in bed conversation, which was unfortunate, because we were to be out of the house by the next morning.
Instead we, the whole family and I, left at 10 for Chicagoland, IL to visit my former Youth Pastor and his family. It was a healing day, being able to see them. The girls are so sweet. We ate spaghetti and chocolate chip cookies for dinner, and I finished the visit doing dishes with Sissy assisting. At first I was upset that we ran out of time to visit, but then I was glad that I could serve those who had done so very much to serve me. The three hour ride home was filled with obnoxious singing and the O-Zone CD played at least two times, as well as some fun dancing, I just hope my superiors don't find out that I went "dancing" on fall break. Once we returned to Lowell it was almost straight to bed.
Saturday, Sissy worked, I shopped with Miss Lee. When we got back to the house I started to cook, which is something I can not do at school. I made amazing fruit salad with starfruit in it, Parmesan chicken, and fresh cooked broccoli with homemade cheese sauce on it. Then I watched the kids with Sissy while the parents took a break. The Middle guy and I made chocolate chip cookies, and after all three of them had 3 cookies a piece they headed to bed. It was surreal how they actually picked out a book and listened as I read it. They even stayed in bed and slept after only 20 minutes or so of chatting. Then, I watched Discovery channel until the parents returned with the demanded vanilla ice cream for the cookies. They wanted the opportunity to beat us at Sequence, but we just watched T.V. instead. I finished my laundry, packed up, and went to bed.
The next day we went to church, ran , home, returned to Mayville, and I departed with an incredible fresh loaf of bread, a care package, clean laundry, and a refreshed spirit. So thank you family 3, you gave me too much and I am so glad you did.

who is this man? I must know.
That's really cool Emily. I'm so glad you had such a great, relaxing time there. I bet it's good to know that even though your family is not there you can still call it 'home'.
